Yesterday we took part in another LIDE meeting in Milan, when we had Mr. Mario Cimoli, Deputy Director in the UN ECLAC (Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean), talking about the period of elections in Latin America. According to his view the result of the recent elections in Chile and Colombia, the government change in Peru and the future elections in Mexico and Brazil shows tendency for democracy consolidation and the continuity of economic liberalisation in the Region.
